The Princess Noor Suite
The Princess Noor Suite. Princess Noor, known as "The Spy Princess," deals with the short life of a brave French woman, who voluntarily fought for England in 1940.
This gifted young woman was at one time the only radio operator in Paris during the dark days of the German occupation. Her sent information was vital to the Allies.
She would eventually be betrayed, tortured and murdered in Dachau Concentration Camp. She was just 30 years old. For her bravery she was awarded The George Cross and The French Croix De Guerre.
I was inspired to compose this brief memorial called "The Princess Noor Suite" after reading "Spy Princess" by Shranbani Basu, and I compliment her on her research.
Bravery and courage always come at a price. Many of us are unable to attain that high cost, nor wish to. I hope through this musical tribute, some of the hidden side of her courage and life (sometimes very lonely) shines through in to this fallen world that waits The Saviour yet to come.
